PORTABLE FIRE PROTECTION UNIT

The unit is intended as interventional technical means of fire protection used mainly for filling the motor tank truck fire engines from a natural source, for withdrawing the water from flooded rooms and to emergency fire extinguishing. Further it can be used in agriculture, during failures of water-supply networks and sewerage systems, for effective aeration of tanks and so on. Unit can pump also poluted water with impurities of grain size up to 15 mm in diameter. It is able to pump up to minimum level of 20 mm. It can work also without liquid in „dry run“ without seizure or overheating taking place.

CONSTRUCTION

The floating pump is of light and compact construction. Spark ignition four stroke air cooled engine HONDA GXV 160 (163 cm3, 4 kW) or CENTURA 65 (195 cm3, 4,8 kW) is used as a gear. The pump is centrifugal single-stage with discharge branch 50 mm in diameter.

It is possible to add a special additional attachment „Collector of floating impurities PPCA-S“ which allows withdrawing of thin layer on surface (e.g. oilfield sprinkled with VAPEX etc.).
